Aequitas Training and Technical Assistance

AEquitas staff are available upon request to provide training related to the prosecution of violence against women. These trainings can be on-site or Web-based; can be specific to a particular region, statewide, or national in scope; and can range in length from one hour to several days. AEquitas also hosts several national training events, including Institutes on the Prosecution of Sexual Violence, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, and Elder Abuse; the Prosecution of Sexual Assault in P.L. 280 Jurisdictions; and Prosecuting Domestic Violence Homicides. In addition, AEquitas hosts Web-based training events on various topics. All AEquitas training events are tuition-free, and scholarships may be available to help prosecutors and their offices offset the cost of travel-related expenses.
